FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Committee has announced the dates and times for the start of ticket sales for the 2010 men’s ice hockey regionals. All regional tickets are being sold as a three-game package at each site through March 21. If any of the four sites are not sold out by March 21, tickets will be available for individual sessions at an increased price.
Individuals buying tickets in the first month they go on sale will also have the opportunity to win two tickets to the 2010 Men’s Frozen Four in Detroit, Michigan. Each region will award a pair of tickets to a person who is randomly selected from those who purchased tickets through the Internet, in-person or by phone.
The Midwest regional at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind., (hosted by the University of Notre Dame) will have tickets on sale starting at 10:00 a.m. EST, October 1. Semi-final game start times are at 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. EST, March 27, while the regional final is at 8:00 p.m. EST, March 28. Tickets for the three-game package start at $77.00 each for adults and can be obtained by calling 800-745-3000, online at www.ticketmaster.com or in-person at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum ticket office.
If the host institution is selected to participate in the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Ice Hockey Championship, they will be assigned to their host site. Links for ordering tickets online for all regionals are available through www.NCAA.com. Times for all regional contests are subject to change.
